The Boko Haram Truth: Top Nigerian Conspiracy Theory


The Boko Haram events and the anomalies has raised unanswered questions about the Islamic group, Nigeria and the government. At first, it the attacks were relegated to northern Nigeria, but their has been widespread across the country. The growing security threat has been accompanied by a failure to develop a comprehensive narrative about Boko Haram's origins, its motivations and its implications for the country's future.The Truth has led to top Nigerian Conspiracy theories about Boko Haram.

“There is a lot of political conspiracy in this thing. The militia is not just blindly hurting people. But since so many girls are missing, it is ideal for us to sit down and think deeply of what is really going on. The government has been slow to act on it and I feel it has come to a point where every Nigerian has a role to play in finding a solution. Personally, I am hopeful and prayerful that these inhumane people who are killing other people are going to be stopped,” Omawumi, Nigerian singer said.


Who's responsible behind these militant group? Who are funding their operatives and why are the Nigerian government so ineffective in finding these perpetrators? 

Nigerian troops have arrested a businessman suspected of being at the head of a Boko Haram intelligence network that helped plan the abduction of more than 200 school girls in the northeast, the military. Two women were also arrested as part of the investigation, one of whom was accused of coordinating payments to other "operatives". One man and two women arrested, and I'm sure there will be more to come.I hope they find those girls and get them home safely.


In the first five months of 2014, over 5,000 lives have been lost to Boko Haram's violence. A year old intensive military operation against Boko Haram has so far failed to crush the rebels, whose struggle for an Islamic state in largely Muslim northern Nigeria has killed thousands since it was launched in 2009.
